Dart Mortis, Born 14th of September, 1997, Rostov-on-Don. He began his music education and career at the age of 3, when his parents first started to notice his incredible talent to recognize every single note and reproduce it identically to the recordings of Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Louis Armstrong and other jazz legends played at home. When they first heard that his
ability is called a ‘’perfect pitch’’ in a jazz community, he was immediately brought to Kim Nazaretov’s Children Jazz Music School. His first ever audition showed a great affinity to instruments such as drums and piano. Already at that age had his first concert in a Rostov-on-Don Philharmony where he was performing with a Children Jazz Big Band and played bongos. After 3 years, Dart showed a special dedication towards piano and continued to grow inside the music environment further, winning many competitions and participating in many different festivals along his studies.
He was then accepted to Boston, MA and became a part of Berklee College of Music with a full scholarship grant.
Since his early involvement with the music industry, Dart gained unimaginable amount of experience as a side musician, lead artist, touring, recording and performing live in countries as: Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Argentina, United States of America.
