ABOUT

Dedicated, energetic, hack guitarist looking to join professionally-minded, realistically grounded, and mature musicians for playing covers and collaborating on original music. Please have decent gear, respectable talent, and rehearsal space. Due to my work, family, and community obligations, I prefer to stay in the High Desert area, but if the situation and chemistry is ideal, I could consider something out of the area.

If you're interested, I can provide a link to three 80s cover songs I recorded with another band: Lay it Down by Ratt, Breaking the Chains by Dokken, and Smooth Up In Ya by Bullet Boys.

*******************UPDATE*******************UPDATE*****************

Currently involved with a group in Barstow doing high energy rock cover tunes from classic to modern rock. Journey, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz, etc.

I'll be uploading a bandpage soon. We are called Red Rabbit.

Good luck to all.

Influences

Progressive rock, 80's, and 90's. Some of the better classic rock, and also into some cool modern rock and experimental sounds as well; from the simplistic to the intelligent and bizarre. I love odd time signatures.

I like the heavy, deep melodic sounds of Shinedown, Alice in Chains, A7X, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, plus music from bands like Three Doors Down, Arctic Monkeys, and Muse.

As far as individual guitarists, I like John Petrucci, George Lynch, Zakk Wylde, and Joe Satriani to name a few.
