My main talent is in my vocals, though I do know how to play an acoustic guitar well enough to collaborate with other musicians as a rhythm guitar player and lead vocalist.
I am currently open for projects. I would like to find the right partner for an acoustic duo, featuring two quality voices blending together with strong harmonies. I am also open to a larger group project if the right one were to come along.
I have worked as the lead, front person over the years as well as singing in other venues. I took up competitive small group a'cappella for awhile and enjoyed working as a music director for a local theater group.
My guitar skills are fair and has come in handy for accompanying my vocals, which is my primary passion. I have also played acoustic rhythm guitar in live band settings to fill in and cover where it is appropriate. My lead vocals are wired in solid. As a front/lead vocalist, I prefer to cover the majority of the lead vocals in any larger band project. My voice is strong and holds up very well. I am also highly skilled at picking out and singing harmonies. Additionally, I have very good natural rhythm... something that every quality musician needs.
Creating music with other musicians is one of the greatest joys for me and I love it when it sounds good! I'm dedicated to learn and practice. I desire the musicianship and showmanship to be tight. If it takes time to get there, understood, but at the end of the day, that should be the main objective.

Influences
A lot...
Grew up on old 50's and 60's with mom;
singer songwriter, hippie and funk 70's with dad;
big brother got me hooked on 80's hair bands;
friends filled in the blanks with metal and psychedelic rock;
the radio covered the "pop" and "classic rock";
The 90's.... they gave us some good stuff...
Country comes and goes for me but people like it and I do enjoy performing it. I'm also a musical dork... I might get caught listening to Barbara Streisand, Hall and Oats, Neil Diamond. The Judds, Indigo Girls and even Roger Whittaker. I also enjoy a lot of Christian music.
I'm a quick learner. I'm not stuck on any specific genre, but I like to perform and I like people to come listen and enjoy themselves along with me. I don't like trashy or foul music. As a vocalist, I pay attention to the messages that come out of my mouth and hope to keep the material enjoyable for all listening audiences.
