Dave Blodgett

A guitarist of 30+ years, I have been in many cover bands, both working and for fun. I am currently in an alternative rock cover band, but am always interested in connecting with musicians interested in being creative and experimenting with sound and styles. While I don't mind playing some classic rock covers, I'm ready to move on from covering the same old 60s, 70s, and 80s tunes everybody does. Looking to have fun, mostly — music is an outlet for me, not a profession. If you need a guitarist or collaborator, contact me.

I cut my teeth on classic and progressive rock and jam bands (AC/DC, Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Dire Straits, the Dead, Phish, King Crimson, Yes, Queen, Rush, Van Halen), but love music of many types (funk, blues, electronica, alternative, motown). Not a huge country or metal fan, but like to experiment with fusions of lots of styles. Jane's Addiction (and anything by Perry Farrell), John Mayer, Foo Fighters, Soul Coughing, BNL, OK Go, Sublime, 311, Train, Ben Folds, The Code Talkers, Cake, Green Day, Chile Peppers, Jukebox the Ghost, Young the Giant — so many more...
