I started playing the guitar when i was 14. I grew up playing mostly rock and country. I eventually got into acoustic fingerstyle, blues and all types of instrumental guitar music. I have come to greatly admire jazz fusion. I enjoy recording original music. (I have some of my music posted on ). I have been teaching the guitar and playing gigs as a full time profession since 1997. I don't look good in spandex. If i still had hair I'd be all over a mullet. I like carneys too.

I also love Stevie Wonder, Merle Haggard, Norah Jones, Hank Williams, Metallica, Jason Isbell, Tom Waits, Jack White and Dream Theater. Oh yeah, I've always had a special place in my heart for 70's style afros and anything with a wah wah.
