Band to Join.

Very experienced guitarist and bassist available. My career began as a guitar teacher at 15. I taught beginners at first and progressed with my students always having to stay ahead of them. Club gigs and wedding bands filled the next few years. I toured playing pop music in the early 80s but soon took a country gig out west. I thought I would stay for a year to learn about country and western swing. It was a great experience and I never left except to tour periodically (and there were those 10 years I spent as an Over The Road Trucker). I worked the Cripple Creek Casinos for 4 years where playing 7 days a week was not unusual. Later I had a duo that played covers but the original music caught on big around Colorado Springs. Yeah, it was cool, and original music has remained a part of what I do whenever possible. Although I maintain a Roadhouse Style trio locally, I am looking for a more professional gig with top notch players. I am so ready for a real opportunity. During the pandemic I've focused my time on writing, recording, learning and practicing. My first two releases for 2021 are included here and should give some idea of the diverse styles I work in. Scratching the surface. I have operated a full on Pro Tools studio in the past but now use a smaller setup at home. I am available for sessions, short term projects and one off gigs. How can I help? I am truly open to ideas. If you think you could sing my songs better than I do and are interested in giving it a try, please tell me. If you can improve my music in some way with your instrument or skill, I want to know. All that being said, I want a gig that matters. I take musical chances and like to play with fire! How about you?
