ABOUT

If you have an organ loop in your song it’s a reproductive organ. I’m just an old punk bass player with a few other skills in his pocket. I can play finger or pick. Slap bass??? Sure if you like cheese. Overall I’m looking to write original music and have fun doing it. I take direction well, support songs rather than try to star in them. If you are a music school type your technical prowess is sub entertaining and you are just a rich kid. Come at me with feel. I made those little ditties up there with garage band on my phone in minimal time just to show I can play/write. Except Sueña. That is from a reggae project from 2009-10. I did all the bass, drum sequences, guitar solo and engineered both the recording and the mix. Patch 2121 google mail if you know what I’m sayn

Influences

Frenzal Rhomb! Anthony Bourdain,Op Ivy, Rancid, antiflag, misfits, goldfinger, NOFX. All things skater punk/ska. Sly & Robbie, John Holt, Eek-a-mouse, Black Uhuru. Polysics, Primus, Marcus Miller. The Ventures, Dick Dale. Miles Davis, Return to forever, Stanley Clarke. The Beatles, Tortoise, P-Funk, James Brown, The meters/Neville Bros, the list goes on in all directions. I like lots of types of music and ain’t afraid to like something you don’t but grew up listening and playing punk and have never been afraid to add other influences into punk.

EQUIPMENT

My stuff works most of the time. If you are all about equipment you forgot about the importance of spirit. I like to tune my bass down a full step. I just never use that 22 fret
