ABOUT

i'm going to try to create an all female band mostly to help me play my songs live where i will be playing rhythm guitar/bass or piano/organ and lead singing/yelling/raunching loudly (sorry guys i'm trying something new so i wont reply to guys right now)....i've stumbled across so many talented girls in my lifetime but they all seem to be ignored as "just a silly girl with a guitar" and i'd like to give a few girls the chance to prove otherwise and quite honestly i prefer the company of women over that of men most often times. So if you're a girl who plays and/or sings at least reasonably well and are 18-39-ish then do please say hello. i'd prefer you are un-married and un-boyfriended (i dont need a male Yoko Ono around) and not a mother as yet (a "career first, kids later" type gal..or even want no kids at all ever). i'll say more later... but i'm not 100 (nor 25 either) but i do feel like Rip Van Winkle sometimes...i've been working on my songs for a lonnnnng time (i have a full albums worth that should be ready to go in about a year more....5 years so far but i played/recorded everything myself)...so, i'm about ready for a new band (2022-ish) and a live gig or three after this last year of being a Hermit...i'm a bit busy moving right now, so i'll be slow to act or reply i think...i work in terms of years not months. My philosophy is simple: i play my song and you just play along. (in other words you play what you want and i won't mess with it unless it completely throws me off my game....) and we can play your songs too...and yes i do want a female backing vocalist or two (even if you cant play any instruments)...and a "power duo" (ala Stevie/Lindsey or Emmylou/Gram Parsons) could work too...i'm also open to just helping you work on your songs...or having multiple projects running such as i back you on your stuff and you back me on mine...with the right female lead that is...

Yes, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, (classical) Wagner, Beethoven, Bruckner, Bach (authors) HP Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, Tolkien, and everything from Fleetwood Mac to Blue Oyster Cult and Blind Lemon to Buddy Guy and everything in between...basically most music made from 1890 to 1990-ish...i can't stand most country music but i like one or two songs here and there...Willie Nelsons "On The Road Again" comes to mind...i have written one country-ish song however but mostly i write in basic Rock genre.

EQUIPMENT

Mostly i will be singing/yelling/raunching while playing guitar or bass or piano/organ/keys...equipment-wise i have everything i need (pretty much)...but somehow i always need another new guitar or two...and i always want more instruments...next up is a harpsichord i think.
