Experienced bass player (bass guitar and synth bass) looking to step into a working band with gigs and connections. I've played alternative, rock, pop, jazz, etc. I'm near pro level in skill, with solid rhythm and groove. I love to lock in with a good drummer. I'm a fast learner, well versed in music theory and a strong reader as well (if you have charts or scores). I can also sing backup vocals. A recently retired engineer, my schedule for rehearsals and gigs is very flexible. I've got pro equipment and I can produce a wide variety of bass sounds for just about any kind of popular music.
