ABOUT

I've been an active working musician for over 40 years and currently play in the Central Florida area. I'm originally from the upper midwest and my main instrument is trumpet. I also have played professionally in bands on guitar, keyboard, drums, bass and vocals. I've had the opportunity to perform and arrange for the bands and orchestras at Walt Disney World, as well as Tom Wopat, Melissa Manchester, Ice Capades, Fabian, Bobby Rydell, the Four Freshman, and Little Anthony and the Imperials.

I'm heavily involved in writing and composing. My writing is as eclectic and varied as my influences are. I try to write in the styles of what I listen to, from classic rockers, to the older horn bands, to Bruno Mars and Train.

I am looking to play in a working band, and can adapt to many different styles. I can be the horn section with the trumpet or flugelhorn going through the Digitech Vocalist, but would like to contribute equally if not more on vocals (background and lead), rhythm guitar, keys, and extra percussion.

Influences

Steely Dan, Brecker Brothers, Train, Maroon 5, Kings of Leon, Adele, Joni Mitchell, Heart, Tower of Power, Blood, Sweat and Tears, I could go on for quite a bit . . . Right now I'm trying to get my head wrapped around a lot of the current indie band sounds.

Complete PA system with Kustom speakers, Behringer 14 channel mixer.
