Music Major with 6 years of college and a composer. I have never had an interest in doing cover tunes, only in creating new music compositions. I appreciate all genre's of music. I have made a living off of music several times so far: 1975-1979, then from 1998-2008. During the latter I did 320+ gigs per year with just my acoustic guitar and voice and I did over 1000 live concerts, 1 radio show and 3 TV shows.

I have released 14 music albums to date, in the genre's of acoustic music/voice, flute and strings and electronic ambient music. I have extensive experience in sound engineering/recording and performing. Now days I mainly play acoustic guitar (soft stuff), and Electric guitar(hard stuff). Music is a mood to me. I have learned how to play many instruments, but now days just focus on guitar, bamboo flute, hand drumming and midi keyboard.

I also Played Conga's/Ashiko Drums & Percussion for an African Dance troupe and African dance classes for 14 years performing hundreds of concerts in the Colorado area under the guidance of the late Master Drummer/Dancer Adetunji Joda.

Most of my stuff can be heard on Y-O-U-T-U-B-E, so a search for "david theroff"

Open to possibilities, from playing acoustic guitar, percussion, or? Surely there must be another musician-composer that has not chosen the typical cover-song easy route, and still works on creating their OWN music??? If you exist - your not alone. Looking for musicians to CREATE NEW MUSIC, not do re-runs of old stuff.

I can listen or play soft acoustic music, and then thrash metal, and just about any other genre' without flinching.. Well, all with the exception of Disco which makes me somewhat nauseous.
