Looking to partner with a vocalist (and other musicians) to work out cover songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s. I have a list of songs already in mind that require mostly a higher male voice or female. Looking to gradually develop a cover band that will do occasional gigs, private, fun parties, even willing to self-finance concert venues. Also, hoping to in parallel work on original songs to mix into the set as well as record. Ideally looking for a female vocalist that doesn't mind singing some pop male songs as well as female (Pomplamoose, Daryl's House styles). Prefer someone that just enjoys singing and uses this as their long-term outlet for using their voice in a fun and professional way. I am currently working out sounds and parts on keyboard, with electronic drums and will only add members once I have a good working relationship with a vocalist. I'm not against making money with this, but would prefer that it be a fun expression of music first and foremost. I welcome your input to add cover and original songs too, but I want someone that is okay with my current list of songs that inspire me back to my pop roots. If you have instrumental ability that is welcome too. Very loyal with a place to practice.
