I played drums during my teen-age years and then, for some reason, dropped it for the guitar. Persisted with it through jazz lessons and even classical training. Along the way I have developed sound musicianship and the ability to play with others. But it was NOT fun. Six years ago I dropped the guitar and returned to my drumming. I have studied with Tony Lee and Mathew Jones and attended a jazz workshop in Detroit. Every night you'll find me either practicing rudimental exercises or working out grooves on my kit. My role as a drummer is to play to the song.
I am seeking fellow musicians to play with on a regular basis and to eventually play out. Also, I'm a pretty good backup singer.
