Played the cover song scene in Northern Minnesota & Northern Wisconsin. Was the house band at a club in Superior Wi. 3 weeks on 1 off, 7 days a week, 4 sets. Moved to the San Francisco Bay area in 1980 and became part of the New wave, Punk, hard Rock scene. Played in an original band called the Defectors during the 80's. Recorded some singles, EP and 1 full length album and 1 music video. Can be seen on be:"My Vacation". Played shows all over California, Neveda, Hawaii. Did 2 cross country tours that took us to Minneapolis, Duluth, Des Moines, Chicago, Milwaukee. After The Defectors broke up played in a band, with some Defectors members, called Josef Brinckmann and the Conspiracy of Equals. This band had Accordion, cello, 2 violins electric guitar and bass and drums. Clips of both The Defectors and J.B.&COE can be viewed on be and Defectors page. Note: Not to be confused with the current band Defectors out of Denmark. Currently playing in 2 bands back in Duluth Minnesota which play only a few club gigs a year.
