ABOUT
David Harris is a well rounded acoustic/classic rock and singer/songwriter performer with nearly 3,000 performances to date. He has been at it for over 35 years. His very first live performance was to sing one song in front of 300 in Ellington CT with the infamous Jonathan Edwards, a CT native superstar. It was David's 21st birthday and he just decided he wanted to sing "Sometimes," a song that Jonathan often closes with. He somehow made it past the body guard and tapped Jonathan on the shoulder then pointed to the MIC. Jonathan kindly conceded. The piano player was FREAKED OUT that Jonathan allowed David to sing the song, but after a raucous and lengthy standing ovation at the end, he just smiled and gave David the nod. The rest, as they say, is history:)
David loves to bring an atmosphere to every gig that changes lives... if not for the long haul, then just for the moment. An evening with David Harris will not be soon forgotten. He say's "the purpose of playing music is to communicate Love! There is no other motive."
