I am not a musician I was a registered nurse for 40 years with no musical talent. The dancers who filled the dance floors in the late sixties and early seventies, those dancers are still out there.
Places like The Granary, Stages in Granite City, Collinsville Park Ballroom had dance floors that was packed every night good dance music played. The combination of good live music, dancing, a gathering place for seniors, with alcohol is a venue that does not exist today. And this is a music market that is being overlooked. Seniors are looking for alternative fitness activities.Songs are selected for the yesteryear dancing generation of the late sixties and early seventies music. I am organizing a band to manage for FREE.
