My name is David James Zoppi - I am a keyboard player currently searching for a working Blues or Funk/Soul Band to play with in the Greater Hartford area and not looking to travel outside Connecticut except to Western Massachusetts. A few years ago I had a heart attack and would just need assistance with lifting my keyboard Amp., but can lift all my other equipment! I am professional, committed, dedicated, dependable, passionate about music and creative.

I play piano and Roland Juno-G and have an extensive musical background and is quite versatile. I studied Music Theory at the Hartford Conservatory and I am also an award-winning organist and have received the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award; and the Liberace Keyboard Entertainer Search Award for the New England Region. I've also opened for the Mercer Ellington Big Band in Upstate New York and worked with Nancy Lynn and a Touch of Brass. I've also worked with "The Blues Caster's, Funk Em' All, and currently co-lead a group called the Rythym & Motion band.

The genres of music I play are" Funk, Soul, R&B, Swing Jazz, Standards and Blues.
