61 yo retired medical professional, choosing a new career path in music and performing. Years of experience playing all types of music in different bands, including classic/hard/pop rock, top 40, country, jazz, R&B, funk, disco&lounge lizzard(I confess!), Horn groups, power trios. Music is my first, enduring love and I always have tunes running thru my mind, or song in my heart. No more stresses of medical practice, getting sued, or long nights on call. My kids are grown and I am single, live a simple, sane, sober life. time to practice my instruments and develop my chops. Love to hook up with a group whose members embrace healthy atitudes and a work ethic of committment, diigence, hard work, and dependability. I feel I can tastefully add much to a band in whatever capacity. I know alot of tunes and I am a quick study-knowledge base of theory of improvisation/solos/chord work, vocals is pretty good and solid. I can instinctively figure out what sounds best for a given song. Give me a holler!
