SEEKING
Band to Join, Bass Guitar, Other Percussion, Upright bass.ABOUT
I am interested in on-line collaborations. I've been a musician/songwriter most of my life, and have no plans to quit. I played informally throughout high school and afterwards, played in pick-up bands while in the Navy, went back to college and got a Bachelor's In Music from Berklee College of Music ('96), with an emphasis on Songwriting and Music Production & Engineering. From 2001 through 2013 I managed .paramountsong, working with songwriters and musicians, producing recording sessions and playing on them. I left that company in May 2013 to move back to St. Louis and be closer to family. I'm looking for someone to collaborate with musically.

Influences
Theory, mostly, but I've studied music going as far back as you can go. "Open your eyes and ears and you're influenced" The short list would include 60's singer/songwriters from Dylan to James Taylor and Neil Young, the Beatles and Pop groups in general. Not really into Heavy Metal or Punk, Hip Hop, Rap or anything which involves screaming. Strong melody and arranging, solid form. Whatever sounds good. Would be interested in working with a drummer and bass player to put together a rhythm section for Jazz/Pop/Easy LIstening and do weddings/General Business. Would work with another guitar player/singer to polish some material.
