My name is David Pocus and I'm very committed and punctual type of individual, and I’m very interested in joining a group of musicians that are committed and devoted to music as much as I am. I'm a Bassists/Musician is also hard working. I’m willing to spend the time to rehearse any set to its highest quality music professionalism and quality. My back ground in music consists of blues, Jazz, and Funk. I have been involved in music since I was a kid being involved in local music programs such middle concert band, summer band camps, high school jazz band, marching band touring china, college symphonic band, and De Anza Jazz Big Band. The instruments that have played since are alto sax, soprano sax, percussion, drums, piano, upright Bass, Electric Bass, which is my main instrument now. My Main influences are Jaco Pastorius, Ron Carter, James Jameson, and of course my father. I am always trying to sharpen my skills in music every day such my pocket, reading both bass clef an treble clef, cite reading, soloing, improvisation, and ear training. My goals is to expand my horizons in music and treat every gig/ show as if it my last so that the outcome will of the highest quality. EQUIPMENT

I currently have a Sterling Ray 34 made by Music man, a Fender Squire Bullet Bass witch I plan to make fretless, Acoustic 100 watt amp, and Roland KC-150 amp. I m in the market to up grade my rig, and get a five string but I am no their yet.
