ABOUT

I majored in jazz guitar and it ruined my taste in music forever. I'm a reliable and competent guy, looking for folks interested in folk/indie/pop type music or more straightahead rock/punk, playing originals. Would not mind getting back into jazz/mid-century pop either but I haven't touched that stuff since school. I'm mostly interested in developing new songs and recording them, but have plenty of spare time to play out too if the right people come along. I play guitar and guitar-like instruments and can do decent home recording (see my demos). I am not a singer, but have been occasionally forced into that role under truly dire circumstances.

I currently play guitar in a moderate commitment proggy punk band, but would like to find an outlet for the other styles of music I enjoy.

EQUIPMENT

Guitars to cover most occasions (6/7 string solid body electrics, steel and nylon string acoustics with electronics), mostly play a P bass but I also have a 5 string Stingray, or a cool little guitarulele if you're into that. Plenty of software as well, using Reaper for my DAW but I can switch. Exclusively using a Fractal AX8 + PA for amps these days, but can step up as a gear head if need be. Do not currently have a great practice space
