I am a vocalist who mainly does scream/growl vocals with some clean singing as well, but I personally dislike the generic screams and vocal techniques that most bands utilize. I like to think that my voice has a unique quality to it.
I never had a vocal coach, I was purely self taught. I started learning how to scream back in about 2004 or 2005 and have practiced and tried to improve since then.
I have also never had an actual band, as a result of various factors, so I have always used digital instruments to make my demos. This means that I can come up with some demos pretty quickly that we can later work on and flesh out.
I strongly want to form a band with like-minded musicians and create some kick ass music for the world. I would be open to meeting up and jamming, or just sending one another tracks to work with over the internet, whatever works for the other members.
