Calling all talented vocalists!

We are Daylight Riot, a band blending heavy metal with progressive elements, and we are auditioning for a new lead vocalist.

Requirements:

-Availability for practice in Green Bay, WI, 1-2 times per week. Typically, rehearsals are scheduled once during the week and once over the weekend.

-Flexibility to perform at shows on weekends and the occasional weekday. We are currently on track for playing 15 to 20 shows this year.

-Proficiency in both clean singing and screaming. We are accommodating to different vocal ranges and open to making adjustments to existing vocal parts.

-Ability to write your own parts, contribute to songwriting, and music knowledge are all pluses, but not essential.

About us:

We have released 4 singles and several live performances, which you can check out below and on all streaming services

What we bring to the table:

-We all work hard to improve our abilities as musicians and our sound as a band.
-We host our rehearsals in a dedicated studio environment, with the drums isolated in a different room, so practice sounds and feels like being in the studio. This also helps the improvement part, as we can hear everything (including mistakes) more clearly, record our performances, and analyze them to work on the weakest parts.

The audition will consist of 3 songs:
Lament, Raven’s Lullaby, and a third unreleased track which will be provided upon contact. The first two can be found attached to our page. We will also provide a better quality demo upon contact.

EQUIPMENT

We own all the necessary equipment to do shows with wireless in-ear monitors so you can hear yourself perform with no issues every time. The only equipment required from your end would be a good quality microphone.
