I am a college student at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, studying environmental science, history, and music. I am originally from Hyde Park, New York. My main instruments are viola and mandolin, but I also play violin, guitar, ukulele, banjo, bass, bass guitar, and tenor guitar at a proficient level. I play the viola, violin, and mandolin classically, and everything else traditionally. I love bluegrass (fiddle, guitar, bass and mandolin) and play it the most after classical, but I also play jazz mandolin and violin, country fiddle and mandolin, blues fiddle and mandolin, Klezmer fiddle, guitar, bass, and mandolin, Celtic fiddle, guitar, and mandolin, and rock guitar, bass, and mandolin. I sing in all genres mentioned before. I have performed in a variety of chamber ensembles, bluegrass bands, fiddle groups, and swing bands, and at festivals for all four genres. I have some experience with mandolin and guitar instruction. I have been playing viola for eleven years, violin and mandolin for seven, guitar and ukulele for five, and bass, bass guitar, tenor guitar, and banjo for four.
