hi, i'm david "dialectic" whipkey. i live in longview, tx and i'm looking for some musicians to get my project, the dialectic, up and running. i'm married but have no kids. my wife is my 1st and foremost priority but she has been pushing for me to get another band going so gigs and practices are not a problem. she loves to watch me play. we're also hoping that anyone interested in starting my project with me will become close like family as well. I do have a tendency to take on a band leader role. I'm huge i into positive criticism and making compromise to make the music come out to everyone's satisfaction and most importantly the best sound that we can produce for the crowd. a band isn't about one person sticking out above the rest. In order to get the best sound and band feel possible everyone must shine equally and the sound must work together. It's not about who is the most technical cuz quite frankly music that is over technical is just too much to comprehend or even enjoy anymore. Everyones voice and opinion should be heard and any disputes should meet in the middle so that everyone is happy in the overall product. After all, regardless if you like the music you play, your not the one buying the band merch and paying to see yourself on stage. if the fans don't like it or want to hear it then what is the point of writing in the first place. cell 9038086434
