Hiya! I'm a harp player. I love the blues but anything with a good swing is cool too. I sit in with numerous bands but now am considering joining up with a steady gig. I perfer blues but, like I said, I like it all. If it taps the toes and has them dancing, it's all good. Looking for a jump style of blues band to hook up with. I love playing with horn bands but I've done some great gigs with just a harp and guitar with good vocals. Recently spent some time down in Clarksdale Mississippi to get some licks from some fantastic players like Billy Gibson, Austin Jimmy Lee, Cheryl Arena and Adam Gussow.

EQUIPMENT
Lots and lots of harps of course. I customize and tune my own harps. Amps include a 59 RI Bassman, 1949 harmony, 57 Premier Model 71, Silvertone 1484, a modified Blues Jr, and a couple no-namers. I play mainly diatonic customized harps (which I tune and emboss myself), also play a little chromatics and octave harps. For my mics, well I've got 7 or 8 customs to choose from. I like different mic and amp combos for different styles.

I usually gig on Thursdays at The Bridge Street Tavern in Solvay. It's an open mic but the talent level for blues players is getting better week by week. Come on down and jam!
