We are a gigging all original band that lost our bass player right before a little stint on the road. The band has a vintage 60's/70's feel with a tendency toward classic R+B, psychedelia and garage rock with vocal harmonies and moments of improvisation. We are looking for a player that is proficient enough to learn the few tunes we have, reliable enough to show up to practice every week on time, but most of all , you need to know how to let go and have fun in the throes of the music. We can provide the bass rig if you need it. No disrespect to those who use them, but fancy modern (more than four string) active basses and ultra hi tech solid state amplification will really not fit in with our sound.
