We're a group of friends who share a love for jam band music, especially the music of The Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia. The Dead songbook is our 'home base' but we like to stretch other songs out, develop new transitions, bring in other influences, and keep things interesting. We aim to get together monthly at a rehearsal space in Central New Jersey. We're mid-late thirties, and have all been in gigging bands. We could develop this into an occasionally gigging project down the road, but for now this is a low pressure way to explore the music we love with a friendly community of players.
We're currently seeking a keyboardist/pianist. Knowledge of the GD/Garcia songbook strongly preferred. Vocals are a huge plus. Perfection isn't required, but please be a competent player, as we are.
