Bass Player who loves to lock in the Groove.
I began playing Acoustic Guitar and when I was 12 years old. I switched to Upright Bass then Electric Bass Guitar at 15. I played in my Highschool "Jazz and Show Band", Which won 1st Place at the 1986 Worlds Fair held in Victoria Canada. I played in the Generation Gap (Country and Folk) [1980-1984] Strawberry Gamblers and Ace (R&B Funk) [1985-1987], Ozone Park (Acoustic Rock) [1998-1999], and Funk-N-Blues (Motown R&B, Rock and Blues [2001-2002], just to name a few. Country is my Real Love Now. I am committed to finding Professional Musicians who love to play tightly and still have fun Entertaining People. I have Recorded in Studio Sessions and Played both Outdoor Venues and Bars in the Pacific NW and around The Greater Charlotte, NC. Region.
I had to take a few years off from playing music because of a Management Job and a Baby Girl. However I've cleaned the dust off these old Paratrooper Bones, Maintainced, Upgraded and Added on to my Professional Bass Gear and have been practicing hard at home until I have become comfortable enough to put myself out there again. I am Drug Free and "Don't Do Drama". I just want to be Creative Again maybe even find the Right Person or Group to Write Music Again. I am willing to put the time in to learn songs so you won't have to wonder what the Bassist is Doing. I am NOT a Showboat, I am however the Bassist who will lock in the Groove with a Proper Drummer and keep the Rhythm Locked Down.
Now that my daughter has grown and it's "Not Cool" to hang out with dad anylonger and my Management job is completely out of my life as I am Retired. I am willing to Sub but hope to find a Band in the near future. I'll never Lead fellow musicians along and will always treat everyone with respect. I do sing some harmonies and enjoy tight Harmonies like the Eagles or Beach Boys. Hope to talk with ya soon!
