Deception was started in early 2007 by singer, songwriter, and guitarist AJ Sams. In June 2008 Jay Phoenix joined as the drummer. Deception's first album "Bring Into Being" has been out since May of 2008. It can be found on CDBaby and Itunes. Chad Slone joined the band on Bass/Vocals during pre production on the follow up album " Elements Against" and it is set to release Summer 2010.
