ABOUT
i personally practice almost daily writing my own songs and experimenting. i typically write songs acoustically but i am an electric guitar player who mixes heavy psychedelic music with blues, ska, funk, metal, and a sort of garagie sound. i myself have played several gigs with various garage bands, but still not many simply because i rarely find enough musicians motivated to work. i want this band to basically be a band for music's sake regardless of genre. i prefer heavy music to an extent but i also prefer softer, as well as everything in between. i would like to have a unique sound based off what we as a band would enjoy playing and listening to and based off what other bands have or have not done. because i am willing to put much of my life into this i would like to take this seriously. i am looking for creative and active band members who i can trust to not take what is at the moment my band in a direction i feel i cannot derive enjoyment from. i am a creative individual so unfortunately i cannot root myself too deeply into a too defined of a direction. i would like to have our own sound but only so it unifies the diversity. ultimately this is what i wish to achieve.

Influences
my influence are grounded on most guitar based music that i personally appreciate regardless of style. i take a little bit of something from everything i listen to. the heaviest influences i get, however, come from bands such as queens of the stone age, the mars volta, kyuss, dax riggs, the white stripes, the dead weather, and various other modern, unique, and sometimes artsy bands. i also listen to a lot of 60's and 70's rock because i am pretty open minded though i come from a punk background and 80's hardcore.
