ABOUT

Looking for CREATIVE musicians who DON'T just want to copy other material and who would enjoy the process of developing originals and creating music from scratch.!! I have a couple of choice gigs each year that I currently play solo, including a major Blues Festival, and some ideas for benefit gigs. Mostly studio and social media work with 10-20 live gigs per year anticipated. (Too old to lug equipment every night for peanuts! And I don't drink...) I also host a guitar group called "Massive Blind Jam Project"... check out that built-in audience as well.!! I've played rhythm guitar, bass & drums (15+ years) since an early age. Also have fronted a couple of bands as lead vocalist. I am now realizing my dream of playing lead guitar having begun study at age 50 in 2010. I'm on about hour 8,500 of the "10,000 hour rule" and find that I DON'T want to learn someone else's songs/style but want to create artistically from scratch. Looking for like-minded creative "geezers" to CREATE and work to develop dozens of original song ideas and lyrics, and to input THEIR OWN ideas. Got your own stuff to say before you kick the bucket? Wanted: drums, rhythm guitar, bass... Open to keyboard, other percussion, cello (electric cello with effects would be awesome!!!), possibly other instruments. Desire to make a unique and highly creative experience with NO ego involved.. just a passion for the God-given gift of music and absolute LOVE of our instruments and the artistic/creative process.!!

(Main) Gibson SG Standard w/DiMarzio Satriani pickups. (2nd) Gibson SG 60's Tribute model w/DiMarzio P90-size distortion humbuckers. Blackstar HT Club 40 valve amp. Yamaha acoustic-electrics. Pedals include a volume pedal (for those cello sounds), Crybaby wah, Boss distortion and digital delay, Ibanez Tube Screamer (sustain - yum!), and a noise gate (of course).
