Hey! I am a 23 year old guitar player/singer living in Ferndale looking to form a band. I have played in bands before as a bass player/back up singer. I am looking to form a band in the Ann Arbor Area to start playing shows. The sound I'm trying to achieve is just flat out rock. Think Black Keys/The Whigs/(Early)Kings of Leon/Raconteurs. I really enjoy improvising too, to keep live shows fresh. I think it would be nice to leave some songs in a show a bit more open ended, not necessarily a 30 minute jam band song, but being able to rock out and make shows unique. I think it would also be cool to have people able to sing back up vocals, or even sing lead on songs. I think vocal harmonies really add alot to the sound of a band.
