ABOUT

I'm in music school studying bass. Electric 6 string bass.

I'm looking for musicians to make money with.

If we are trying to do a project, I'm interested in psychedelic/experimental stuff, jazz, as well as Japanese contemporaries. Japan is where I'm trying to settle down. ?????.

If you're putting money on the table or you have work and need a bassist, I'll audition.

Influences

My influences range as far as the 7 continents.

Biggest influences are artists who were really out there, like frank zappa, mononeon, knower, thundercat, casiopea, the seatbelts, s3rl, psyqui, adrianwave, desired, kenshi yonezu, tanuki,

My taste profile is all over the place, but I don't recognize most popular music I get assigned at school

But most important of all

I'm working on getting familiar with japanese contemporaries.

EQUIPMENT

I feel like this section is a little dated, in this day and age I can't really think of any equipment I can't access, or any tones I can't model

Right now I'm playing on a cheap bass but, I have almost 2k$ in tone modeling gear, so, yeah :/

But still, I don't have much so I'll run you through what I go right now,

First, while I'm in school, and this is only allowed if I have permission from school, we have access to some high quality recording rooms. (So long as nobody is gonna be using that space, but these spaces are more often vacant, since most people don't like hanging out at school)

Other than that,

I play a 6 string bass with s sorta mid tone between bright and warm, as of typing this, (got my eyes on a trb 6p from yamaha)

C4 synth pedal, my favorite piece of equipment

Your standard reverb, looper/delay, and compressor pedals, ofcourse on a silent power supply

Now, I have a 40watt amp, I can go bigger but I just can't really think of any venues where I need an amp, a good di will keep my tone in the pa.

I also have my studio area at home, but ain't much for gigging there.
