Influences
There’s a distinctly earthy feel to the band’s music, all of it anchored in rootsy female harmonies reminiscent of everything from The Wailin’ Jennys to the Barrelhouse Mamas to the old “Trio” formation of Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt and Dolly Parton. They try to balance their sets with a combination of personal favorite obscurities and more popular songs like Little Big Town’s “Day Drinking,” and while the women have been singing together for years now, performing together is still something they’re getting the hang of.
