ABOUT

I retired from my Christian rock band (Crosswind) several years ago to be "Mom." After my son went to college, I "un-retired."

I have been singing with two local bands -- a Classic Rock band "D & The Situation", as their front person (singing 99 percent of the songs for a normal 4-hour gig) and a blues/funk band, Rhythm Coalition, as their female singer (singing about 75 percent of the songs).

In 2008, I was a finalist for the Texas Music Awards "Female Vocalist of the Year" as the only rock and blues artist--the other finalists were country singers.
