I play the hell out of a guitar, though I'm not really a "shredder". I am very good at figuring out parts note-for-note, as well as capable of improvising (which I prefer). I've been playing professionally with various groups in Las Vegas for six years now, playing many of the lounges and theaters on and off the Strip. Before that, I was playing semi-professionally all of my adult life "back East".
Though I have a certain level of commitment to the group I'm with now, I am still open for any fill in work when I'm available.
Of course, I also love to simply jam with good musicians for fun.

For guitar influences, Buddy Guy, Jerry Garcia, Trey Anastasio, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Willie Nelson, Warren Haynes, and many many others.
Overall musical influences is a much wider net...I really enjoy and get something out of about anything and everything. But if pressed, I like music that's raw, organic, live, roots-based, etc. (vs. processed or canned).
EQUIPMENT
I have a decent collection of guitars, tube amps, and pedals to get the sound needed for most any occasion. I'm a tone junkie! I also have a Pod Pro for gigs that require a direct signal and have personal custom in-ear monitors.
