Experienced rhythm guitar player in working cover band looking for something a little closer to home. I can sing lead or backup, have an ear (and love) for harmony, and am comfortable at rhythm guitar but can add some lead now and again. In addition to guitar, I also play bagpipes (for whatever that's worth!)

Influences
Beatles, first and foremost...but love classic rock (Stones, Clapton, Bruce etc), southern rock (esp Allmans) and Pop (British Invasion etc)...looking for easy-going, like-minded (and like-aged, for that matter-I just turned 50) guys and girls in it for the love of music, to jam and eventually play some local gigs...looking for fun and laughs, not egos, you know what I mean?

EQUIPMENT
Guitars, it's almost always my early '80s Telecaster, but I have a nice Strat, a beautiful Gibson LP, and an Epiphone Sheraton semi-hollow, along with Taylor and Ovation acoustics. Amp wise, I have Fender and Mesa-Boogie combos, depending on what the gig is.
