I have played the Saxophone all through Jr high and High school; I picked up on the saxophone very quickly in 7th grade, and was performing with the High school Jazz band my 8th grade year. Then as a Freshmen in High School, I began playing the piano again; (I had some lessons when I was younger). I started learning with Jon Schmidt's Waterfall, (I was determined to learn it) after 6 months, I could play it well. Now, 7 years later, I still love the piano, and can play a lot of things just from my heart. (I feel the piano better than I can read music). Mostly, I play New Age Music; but I also play a bit of Scott Joplin, (Rag Time Piano). I play around with Boogie and other Jazz styles. I have begun learning Latin styles.

I love music for its inspirational value, and hope to find artists with that same interest in music. I am looking for serious musicians who love good music. My hope is to form, or join any Jazz group, or something similar.

Influences

Jon Schmidt; Scott Joplin; Vince Guaraldi; George Winston; I also implement various Jazz styles, such as swing, blues or boogie. I continue to learn and implement new styles. I have also taken piano lessons from Jonny May, he is an incredible pianist at Disneyland.

EQUIPMENT

I own an Alto and a Tenor Saxophone. I do not, at this time, own a piano, but I have bountiful access to pianos for practice. I will get a nice, portable, electric piano if I find a serious group of musicians.
