Best way to see us is to visit our webpage at : .desotoroadband. Our Bass player has had to step down due to some health issues, and our drummer has taken on other committments. We are looking to replace both. We have a large number of songs and if you have vocal skills for back-up or even singing lead on a few songs that is a plus. Please contact us through our band email "desotoroad " (spaces added to reduce spam). We have venues that would like to hire us again so finding gigs and bookings should be fairly easy.

J (Guitar & Vocals) has been playing since 1976/77, about 35 years in total with some time off here and there. However he started focusing on playing when Lynyrd Skynrd released “One More From The Road”. Like many musicians from the area, has been through his share of “2 gigs and done” bands. He lists among his influences: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Billy Gibbons, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Cropper, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jeff Healey, Little Charlie Baty, Albert Collins, Robert Cray, Duke Robillard, Molly Hatchet , Levon Helm, Sam Cooke, Albert King, Robben Ford.
L (Vocals, Keyboards, Flute) has been playing since 1979. Classically trained yet born to rock, she has been a part of symphonies, jazz bands, blues bands, show choirs, musicals, rock bands, punk band, metal bands, you name it. She has performed in several states and directed several choirs over the years. Local bands that she has shared the stage with are Southern Misfits, Rictus Grin, Blue Chiggers, Just Us, Exoskeleton, The Hammers, Difference Engine. She lists among her influences: Aerosmith, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Janis Joplin, Johnny Cash, Beethoven, Mozart, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Heart, Rush and Dream Theater to name a few. Laura also does arrangements and compositions for various groups and people.
S (Guitar & Vocals) first started playing in 1976. He lists some of his influences as Led Zepplin, Joe Satriani, Queen, Van Halen, Eric Clapton, Joe Walsk, all Southern Rock, Beatles and Steve Vai. Steve has played with Shannon Downes, Shadow Wolf, Lights Out, Alternators, and High N R G.
