What's up guys. I'm looking to put together a group to perform music and hopefully collaborate with in song writing. My main interest is bass guitar, which I've been playing for about 14 years, but over the years I've picked up a bit of guitar and piano, which I do a lot of songwriting with now. I've played with a band for about 8 years but that is on hiatus now while other members are pursuing other endeavors.
As a bass player, my main inspirations for style would have to be Flea, McCartney and Geddy Lee. But as a songwriter, I'd say the style I write with is more like Chevelle, Lostprophets, and beats wise like newer Linkin Park, as I've been doing a lot of writing on the (Native Instruments) Maschine. I haven't decided on a vocal direction for this project yet, so I'm open to everything.
I take my music very seriously, and it is definitely my biggest passion. At the same time, student loans and rent mean I have to work full time, so it limits my availability to every day after 5:30.

Influences
I listen to a very wide range of music, and am open to a lot as well. My favorite bands right now would probably be Foo Fighters, Incubus, Chevelle, Linkin Park, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, the list goes on..
EQUIPMENT
My main gear is an Ibanez SR505 and an Ampeg 6x10 cab with SVT-7pro head.
I also have a Fender Jazz bass, Crate 100 watt amp and a Takamine acoustic
