Devan Tracy is an acoustic-folk/pop singer-songwriter based in Hanover, NH. Her two-decade musical journey began with classical piano and morphed into classical percussion, jazz drum set, hand-drumming, and marching tenor drums. Her songwriting often incorporates layered vocal harmonies with keyboard, ukulele, and guitar. Devan’s most recent instrumental addition is the banjo.

In Jan 2017, Devan joined the D.C.-based alternative hip-hop band, allthebestkids on the keys and bkgd vox. For the past two summers, Devan performed with the D.C. Different Drummers Marching Band. When Devan returns to her hometown in Upstate NY, she plays with the Ryan Jenson Band. During her college career, Devan opened for the Lumineers (via the transitive property).

Devan released two EPs that stream on Spotify: “Annotations” and “Root Root to Rise”. She also released an accompanying music video to bridge the audio-visual realm of the creative process. As her musical journey continues, she looks forward to the two-way inspirational exchange between listener and songwriter and vice versa.
