Chainsaw Lipstick is looking to expand and add a vocalist (male or female). We consist of : Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keyboard/Synth, and play a rather unique sound that blends the concepts of Metal, Industrial, Punk, and Synth. It’s a very energetic style we have, and though some songs are rather straight forward, we do have some technical aspects to others. The name of the band is Chainsaw Lipstick. If you look up the band on the FB, you will see Velton (since retired) leading a Horror Punk influenced musical genre that really grabbed my interest when I was asked to join the band after his leaving. Since working with Randy (guitar) and Curtis (drums) I helped bring the band in a slightly different direction without forgetting their roots and added in new concepts as well as new songs, and when Nikki (keyboard/Synth) joined, she added in that extra awesomeness to the overall sound that we all believe will capture the attention and imagination of a very wide variety of people. I would really like to get into other band plans we are working towards for the overall stage spectacle, but we’re kinda keeping it under wraps and very hush-hush, because it’s really going to be something unlike anyone else (locally) is doing. It’s going to be a lot of fun, a good bit of work, and I believe it will be worth every moment of effort once we hit that stage and show everyone what we’ve got up our sleeve.

Ministry, NIN, KMFDM, Misfits, Carpenter Brute...wait a minute, wait a damn minute...we don't sound anything like the bands I'm going to list here. Our musical approach is developing music that takes the audience on an emotional rollercoaster. We have punk style songs, industrial style songs, metal style songs, dark wave style songs, etc. The thing is...I like all that stuff. We plan to play for such a large variety of people that even if you're not into (let's say) punk, guess what, we have a song and structure you're sure to like. Its undeniably entertaining and a lot of fun. Blending these different styles takes a lot of planning and structure, but we are very excited about what we are doing. There is a very strong commitment with this group...and most of all, we are friends first, our business we take seriously, and egos get left outside the studio. I find when I write music with my heart, it transfers to listener, and its a wonderful thing.

Check out Chainsaw Lipstick on FB for our Sweet Little Amy: Redux to get a very brief idea of where we are going. If you want more, contact us and we have more...but its a surprise

Members Of Band

Curtis Angel: Drums
Randy Martin: Guitar
Nikki Ingram: Keyboard/Synth
Deven Ingram: Bass
And maybe you? (If I looked at your profile and you're seeing this, feel free to contact us...don't be shy)

Experience: Between the 4 of us, we each have professional experience with the music industry. Nikki has played with both Houston Symphony and Orchestra and even taught music earlier in her career, Randy and Curtis have played together throughout the years since the early nineties opening for acts such as Cannibal Corpse and Corrosion of Conformity, and I myself have worked with multiple bands throughout the years, and the highlight of my career was sharing the stage with bands such as My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Tim Skold (of Marilyn Manson) as well as John 5 (of Marilyn Manson).

We have a professional grade, full rackmount equipped, 4000watt PA system, Professional grade microphones, Some very serious amplification, Two Tier Keyboard setup with midi controllers and dedicated Macbook Pro with Logic X, Mainstage, Amplitude, Vocalive, etc that we use for both studio recording (which we do both at home and studio), controlling the symphonic effects, and engineering our sound for different venue setups. (So basically, don’t worry if you lack something equipment wise…we gotcha covered)...annnndddd we even have a trailer to haul it all.
