BIO: Devon Michael Wade, known as “Devon Michael”, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. This multi-faceted artist was born on August 21, 1985 in the heart of culture-rich Harlem, New York. Residing in a city where many musical greats originated, it was inevitable that Michael be influenced to pursue music; what is astonishing though, is just how undeniably original and talented the young MC is. He credits his influence to legends such as Jay Z, Kanye West and Andre 3000. His eclectic style is reminiscent of authentic hip-hop, with profound lyrics and seamless delivery.
Relinquishing a promising career in professional basketball after attending college at Fresno State University, Michael resolved to follow his heart to hip-hop instead of hoops.
