Somewhere between melody and merriment the music of the Dance Floor Freaks breathes. Formed in 2008 the Freaks use a combination of musicianship, entertainment, crowd participation and fun to form the coolest band in the history of cover bands. Experts in working a crowed, experts in keeping people on the dance floor, experts in building a room with excitement, this band delivers on all fronts. DFF has played gigs where the beer taps have actually run dry because of the over capacity crowds. After the band plays people are often overheard saying, ‘that’s the best band I’ve ever heard.’ Guitarist and front man Steve Losey says it best when describing the bands goals. “We are all about giving the crowd a night they will remember,” he says. “From the first song to the last the Dance Floor Freaks guarantee to deliver the goods every single time.” What differentiates DFF from other bands is their attention to detail. With a blend of Motown, classic rock, country and current music, they know how to work a crowd into a frenzy and keep them crowd in the palm of their hands. They love people, they love music and it shows. DFF’s deliver a great light show with fog, they throw out gifts to the crowd, they ask music trivia questions and giveaway drinks and gifts.
