Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.ABOUT
I desire to play music out. I haven't done that in many years now, and I miss it. Ideally, I'd love to start my own band. I might consider being part of an existing band if it was the right fit.
I listen to and can play songs of a wide range of genres, including rock, pop, funk, country, r&b, blues, jazz. I cover anything from old to modern. The two genres I mainly fall back on are rock and pop, but I prefer to not let that "define" me as a musician, if that makes sense.
I consider myself to be an expert on saxophone in the styles that I play, though ask me to sight-read and I may choke! It's all ears for me!
I also like to sing. I think I have a pretty good singing voice for most types of music. I'm a tenor with a fairly good range.
I also play keyboards. I think I'm decent. I wouldn't say I'm a top-tier player, but there are certain things I play pretty darn well. I played primarily keyboards in the last band I was in.
And finally, I love to write. I don't write quickly. I take my time making sure I get a song right. Taking that time makes a huge difference in the end-result. I do wish I played guitar, because there are many things I write that I'd love to put guitar on.
If you're interested in working together, whether for a project or something more permanent, let me know.

Unalienable (original)
Unalienable (original) Year: 2021 Genre: Pop
(Verse #1) You always speak your mind Tell me that I am filled with hate All the while you become irrate And you reject my kind Yeah, you praise me when we agree But disown me when we disagree You say you don't want me around I'm not aloud in your town You can shout at me and kick me to the ground But if that's all you've got, you can't shut me down (Chorus) I have the freedom to express Ideas I don't wish to repress I want to bring it up I have the freedom to dissent I don't need anyone's conscent It's unalienable It's unalienable (Verse #2) You mock me to subdue You say I'm projecting insolence And my presence is a great offense I won't submit to you There's no way I'm bowing on my knees I reject demands for me to please. You say you don't want me around You don't like it when I'm in your town Listen here, I'm going tell you right now That no force on this Earth is going to shut me down (Chorus) ... (Bridge) You can't deny what's natural It's baked in every single one of us It's both devine and logical Inseperable are speech and life Bound by laws of nature and of nature's God That make us equal despite our strife (Chorus) ... (Adlib) You can't take it away It's not yours anyway You can't make a transaction I won't make a retraction It may be fraught or hectic But I want a dialectic You can try to scream and shout But you're still going to hear me out
