ABOUT

Dichotomy was founded in September 2016 by vocalist Javier Laureano in Denver, Colorado. Having recorded a 5 song demo mostly by himself, this proved to be enough to recruit guitarist Roman Maluski and drummer John Jones. Soon thereafter, the band finally agreed to terms with Josh Davis, for the role of bass guitar and backup vocals. With the unfortunate retirement of Roman as an active member of the group, Dichotomy graciously accepted Braden Rodgers on guitars. Soon following, Rhett Parsons joined the group as the new drummer, as John moved to guitar to fill out the full sound. Braden, who with Rhett, formerly worked on a former project with Josh (Invoked From Within). The meaning behind the name fits the music perfectly, having melodic verses, followed by aggressive choruses.
Each musician is vastly experienced, including multi- instrumental songwriting capabilities. This has accelerated the songwriting process, as well as made for many creative visions. Dichotomy has their goals in mind, and successes on the horizon!
