Even with the numerous, specific sub genres these days, I would have a difficult time finding where we fit. It’s heavy sometimes, but not always. Progressive, but not overly complicated. We’re a hard rock band with low fi indie sensibilities. A dirty garage rock band that strays from simple power chords into melodic rhythmic riffs. We love noisy fuzz and delay, but don’t shy away from a solid groove.

Influences
Many and widely varied, but to list a few from the main writer’s point of view: Queens of the Stone Age/Kyuss. Modest Mouse. Clutch. Minus the Bear. Mastodon. Mars Volta. Radiohead. CKY. Dead Meadow. Coheed and Cambria. Muse. Murder by Death. Lightning Bolt. Again: this is but a few examples of one member’s influences, and I realize it would be impossible to piece together our sound from such an eclectic list.
Members Of Band
Two guitarists whom have been playing together in bands, of and on, for almost 20 years. A drummer with whom we both played on another project for about two years. We have 8-9 songs entirely, or very close to finished, and a ton of other riffs and jams which will likely be structured into songs. What we need most is a versatile vocalist of any gender. Someone who can write vocal melodies, and possibly lyrics in a variety of styles of rock. Some aggressive shouting may be handy, but not strictly necessary. We’re not looking for a hardcore/metal screamer.
EQUIPMENT
One six string with a vintage fender amp, one 8 string with fancy, complicated guitar processor and powered speaker. Drum kit. PA available if necessary.
