Been playing music since I was 6. Enthusiastic, committed. Looking for other musicians with a broad influence in music. Not that I want to be in an unfocused band, quite the opposite, I just like it when varied backgrounds collide and create something worth committing to. I’m happy to join a band that already has their sound developed as long as I’m a good fit. You can see from my influences that I’m not married to a single genre. I like the idea of working with other multi-instrumentalists and switching off duties on different instruments, a la King Crimson. For instance if I came up with a killer bass line that you played over I would just play bass on that song. I have found that this kind of freedom sparks lots of creativity. I do realize that for some this is confusing so it’s just a thought not a requirement. I am a songwriter as well as a musician and should the style be appropriate would gladly perform originals, mine or yours. One of the songs I’ve uploaded is one of my originals performed and recorded by me (I’ll let you guess which one :). I’ve always thought that a 70%-30% split of covers and originals is a good starting point for a band that eventually wants to do mostly originals. I’m also happy to join a tribute band as long as the level and commitment are there. I’m not a show off performer; I like it when everyone shines on an equal footing. At the end of the day I’m looking for the groove, no matter what genre is being played, with no ego. I’m mellow company but reliable and will go as far as the right band can go. There will be no judgement of people coming from me, only critique of the music. I do vape while I play/work and will have a drink or two after a show, but that’s as far as I go. I’ve got no ideology to push, just a love of that feeling when the band is in sync. If you like what I can contribute then I am looking forward to talking with you. Peace
