I am putting together a band to play Dallas Metroplex area clubs. We will play about 8-10 times a month (about twice a week mostly, with a week off every several). I have a day job, so I can't travel, but I want to put together a band which we can all be proud to bring to the stage. We will play certain rodeos, fairs, and festivals in the summer and fall months on Saturday and Sunday daytimes.

Influences
The band will be fashioned after such country bands as Exile, Restless Heart, Steve Wariner, and Rascal Flatts. However, it will have a high energy level like 70s and 80s pop bands like REO Speedwagon and Journey. The music will be country, but we will put our own kicks and accents in to make it very interesting to play, and still be danceable.

I am a keyboard player / vocalist. I am looking for 3 other players: drums, bass guitar who sings lead and harmony, and rhythm/lead guitar who sings lead and harmony.
EQUIPMENT
I have my own keyboards. Can probably rent a PA for short periods of time reasonably, but would rather someone in the band have one to start out.
